Security Guard - Part Time

Corso security officers play and important role for our clients and their guests. Our teams primary objective is to maintain a safe and secure environment while providing the highest level of customer service possible.

Corso is actively searching for bouncers/security guards to work nightlife venues, concert venues, bars restaurants, wedding venues and private events in the upstate Greenville SC area. The vast majority of available hours will be on the weekends but there are hours in the evening available certain week nights as well. We are searching for candidates who are reliable, consistent and are available 2 times a week. SLED certification is preferred, but is not required. All employees not certified will be sent to SLED Security Basic (4 hours class).

Training: New employees will undergo in-person, online and on the job training in addition to the SLED basic training class.

The initial interview process will entail a screening via in-person or virtual call. All candidates are expected to be prepared at their best with a professional appearance for the interview.

• Maintain security and safety of the client's premises
• Serve as a visible deterrent
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports
• Promptly respond to incidents
• Adhere to team protocols for the given venue
• Use devices provided for the job i.e radio comms and metal detectors
• Provide high level customer service

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed security, 21 years of age for armed.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check that results in a clean criminal history with no arrests or convictions that conflict with receiving a SLED security certificate.
• Must be able to pass an initial and periodic drug tests.
• Must demonstrate exceptional customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work independently while following orders and protocols.
• Must have a reliable source of transportation and a clean driving record
• Must have an operating cell phone with voice, text, and data capabilities.
• Must be able to demonstrate good critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move at least 50 lbs. Must have the physical stamina to stand on your feet for 8 hours with no break.
